UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Student Affairs will host virtual office hours to answer questions and address concerns students may have during the remote-learning period. Students can connect via Zoom to speak with a Student Affairs director beginning May 6.

Any Penn State student can drop in during any of the available days/times and will be connected with a staff member as soon as possible. For a full list of dates and information on connecting to the virtual office hours, visit https://studentaffairs.psu.edu/virtual-office-hours. Check back for additional dates, as hours may continue through the summer depending on the demand.

Some of the concerns that may be addressed include:

  • Off-campus housing issues
  • On-campus housing questions, including questions about retrieving belongings
  • Tuition questions
  • Decisions about fall
  • Financial difficulties
  • Counseling resources
  • Resources for stress, anxiety, etc.
  • General campus resources
  • Food insecurity
  • Internship/career questions

If a Student Affairs staff member is unable to address a student’s specific concern, we will work to connect the student with the appropriate campus resource or office to answer their question.

Student Affairs supports and challenge students as they expand learning beyond the classroom, develop their personal and professional understanding and skills, and achieve the success they seek at Penn State and in their lives beyond. During this remote-learning period, Student Affairs offices are operating remotely and continuing to provide resources, support, and engagement opportunities for students.
