Penn State Brandywine has recognized students who have earned academic honors. Their accomplishments were celebrated through a virtual academic recognition website, which included a video message of congratulations from Chancellor Marilyn J. Wells.  Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the annual ceremony that is usually held on campus was held in a virtual format.

“Welcome to our inaugural virtual spring academic recognition ceremony,” Wells said in her message. “We are pleased that you will help us celebrate what our campus is all about — academic excellence. In these times, it is important to acknowledge and celebrate the great work of our students. Know we are proud of you and celebrate you!”

Nearly 300 full- and part-time students were honored for achieving a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Of those, 63 students achieved the honor for two years, 32 achieved it for three years and 14 achieved it for four years.
