UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — At 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 9, the Bryce Jordan Center will join businesses and venues across the country to simultaneously “Light it Blue” in support of doctors, nurses, law enforcement, food service staff and front-line workers everywhere who are confronting coronavirus in hospitals, grocery stores, and other essential businesses and services.

“We are proud to support the brave men and women fighting this pandemic — especially those in our own community — as well as thank those workers who are confronting this challenge daily with this simple expression of hope and gratitude,” said Bryce Jordan Center General Manager Al Karosas.

Penn State fans everywhere are encouraged to join in showing their support by lighting their homes blue and using the hashtags #LightItBlue and #LightItBluePSU on social media.
