Trash to Treasure sale at Penn State canceled

The annual Trash to Treasure sale scheduled for May 30 in Beaver Stadium on Penn State's University Park campus has been canceled, as announced by the Centre County United Way. The decision to cancel the event comes in response to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

While donations will no longer be accepted during the move-out process, students are encouraged to take unwanted items to a local charity instead.

Since its inception in 2002, Trash to Treasure, has raised nearly $1 million for the Centre County United Way, while also preventing thousands of tons of items from entering landfills.
