UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Office of Undergraduate Education still has a need for judges for the annual Undergraduate Exhibition for Research, Inquiry and Creative Activity, which will now be held remotely.

In order to judge a research exhibition remotely, judges will be provided with Microsoft OneDrive links to their assigned student presenters and have a 48-hour window to complete the judging rubric from 4 p.m. April 15, to 4 p.m. April 17. Faculty, emeriti faculty, staff, post-docs and doctoral students are eligible to serve as judges.

Traditional research posters will be uploaded as a PowerPoint with an accompanying five-minute recording of the research explanation. Oral performances will be uploaded as a video file up to eight minutes long. Judges will be asked to survey three to five entries.

The signup form can be found here, and judges are asked to sign up by April 10.

Judges can specify which academic areas they are interested in judging. Students sign up in one of five broad categories: arts and humanities, engineering, health and life sciences, physical sciences and social and behavioral sciences.
