Human Resources extends timeline for staff performance management cycle

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — To give University employees appropriate time to complete their 2019-20 performance management cycle, Penn State Human Resources is extending the time needed to complete the final step of the process (end-of-year review) to Friday, May 1, through Friday, July 31.

Previously, this step was to begin on Wednesday, April 1, with completion by Sunday, May 31. However, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, Human Resources, in agreement with University leadership, believed it was in the best interest of our employees to extend the time frame.

Employees who had not completed step one or step two of the 2019-20 performance management cycle received previous communication to complete those steps by Friday, March 27. At this time, that deadline has been extended to Thursday, April 30.

To help employees prepare for end-of-year reviews, the following Zoom training sessions are open for registration:

Additionally, there is a video tutorial on how to complete the end-of-year review in Workday

Anyone with further questions regarding the 2019-20 performance management cycle should reach out to HR Services at 814-865-1473.
