UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Beginning Thursday, March 19, and continuing until further notice, all faculty and staff with a valid daytime-access parking permit and all students with a valid Commuter parking permit may park throughout the day at the following parking areas:
- East Deck
- Eisenhower Deck
- Nittany Deck
- Red A
To enter and exit the East and Nittany decks, permit holders must scan their permit's barcode at one of the in-lane machines.
All other campus parking regulations remain in effect, to include no student parking at campus decks between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., seven days a week.
This temporary allowance is being implemented to provide central campus parking options for additional users while parking demand in these areas is diminished due to remote learning and teleworking and while CATA operates on a reduced service schedule. Transportation Services will continue to monitor parking usage and any updates or further changes will be communicated to permit holders via email.
