LGBTQ workshop set

The Pennsylvania School Study Council will present a workshop titled "Policies and Practices Related to LGBTQ Students" from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, in 118 Chambers Building on the University Park campus. Maria Lewis, assistant professor in the Department of Education Policy Studies in the College of Education, will engage participants in a discussion regarding survey results from Pennsylvania principals about LGBTQ students and discuss the implications for school board policies and practices. The event is intended for assistant superintendents, superintendents, executive directors of intermediate units and career and technical centers, and charter school executives.
