Actor Daniel Roebuck to speak at Penn State Lehigh Valley

Penn State Lehigh Valley's Business Society is sponsoring the event on March 5

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Actor, writer, producer and director Daniel Roebuck, a Bethlehem native, will speak at Penn State Lehigh Valley at 1 p.m. on March 5 in Room 135.

Roebuck will discuss his 35-year career as an actor in Hollywood. He will discuss his new charity, A Channel of Peace, through which he plans to bring more family/faith-based films to the Lehigh Valley. He also will discuss the film “Getting Grace,” which he co-wrote, produced, starred in and directed in the summer of 2016.

The film was shot in the Lehigh valley and played in theaters across the country for 12 weeks. The movie received accolades from many organizations, including St. Luke’s Hospice Center and the National Funeral Directors Association. He is planning on shooting another movie this summer titled “The Hail Mary,” which he hopes to make in partnership with Lehigh Valley residents and patrons.

The event is sponsored by Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Business Society, a club on campus. The event is open to the public. Tickets are free, but space is limited. Reserve a ticket at Eventbrite (search Daniel Roebuck).
