Altoona professor delivers keynote address at climate change summit

ALTOONA, Pa. — Brian Black recently gave the keynote address at the fifth World Summit on Climate Change and Global Warming held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Feb. 17-18. He was invited to present his paper “What’s an Energy Transition Look Like," in which he describes past energy transitions while laying out our current shift from reliance on fossil fuels.

Black is a distinguished professor of history and environmental studies and head of the Division of Arts and Humanities at Penn State Altoona.
