Intel to offer learning sessions on machine learning and AI tools

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — An upcoming training session will help connect Penn State researchers with Intel’s advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, according to organizers. Researchers will have the opportunity to learn how to improve their code and how to use the company’s distribution tools for deep learning and artificial intelligence, among other lessons.

Representatives from Intel Corporation will be on hand for the training on Feb. 19 in the Nittany Lion Inn on Penn State’s University Park campus. The talks, organized by the Institute for Computational and Data Sciences, are free and open to the public.

Intel is a pioneering technology firm and a leader in developing AI and machine learning tools.

Intel’s instructors will also offer lessons in how to compile code written in the Fortran and C++ programming languages, how to analyze and interpret data using Intel’s Vtune, Advisor and Inspector applications and how to use performance libraries to improve the performance of code
