UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The deadline for Penn State faculty and staff to apply for the Spring 2020 Dependent Grant-in-Aid (GIA) benefit has been extended to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 — there will be no exceptions after the deadline. The deadline for Technical Service employees is governed by their Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Employees must complete a new GIA request form on or before the deadline each semester or summer session in which the GIA is to be applied. The summer 2020 application window opened Tuesday, Feb. 4, and will close on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
