2020 Student Leadership and Service Award Nominations are open through Feb. 17

UPDATE: The deadline for the 2020 Student Leadership and Service Award nominations has been extended through Feb. 17

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Student Affairs is currently accepting nominations/applications for the Student Leadership and Service awards. These awards recognize individual students and organizations for their outstanding leadership and service to Penn State. Student leaders/organizations may be nominated by members of the University community or individuals may self-nominate and apply for these awards.

Every spring semester, the Office of Student Activities, a unit of Penn State Student Affairs, presents awards and scholarships to students who have been valuable contributors in the areas of leadership and service while at Penn State.

Applications and nominations for these awards are open from Jan. 23 until Feb. 17 at 11:59 p.m. The nomination form can be found here.

“The Student Leadership and Service Awards aim to recognize outstanding students who have made a positive impact on the University and community through service while also demonstrating leadership skills,” said Allison Kinsey, assistant director of Service and Leadership. “We are grateful to have the support of donors who provide funding which accompanies some of the awards. Their continued commitment to Penn State students is an invaluable resource and cannot be understated.”

The 13 awards recognize students and organizations for their outstanding leadership and service to Penn State. This is an opportunity to thank student leaders for being active citizens while on campus and for their continued service and leadership on behalf of Penn State as an institution.
