With the West Campus Parking Deck project receiving approval to commence construction, the back sections of Lot Red A located just west of the Earth and Engineering Sciences (EES) and Leonhard buildings will close effective Monday, Dec. 16.

All vehicles (including department vehicles) must be removed from these areas no later than Sunday night, Dec. 15. All other sections of Lot Red A (IST, north of EES, bus station, Hallowell, Engineering Services) will continue to be available and should provide adequate parking for remaining Red A permit holders.

Faculty and staff who were issued permits for Yellow Z (White Course Apartments), ACR (former O.W. Houts property) and Green Y (Sparks Street lot) must begin parking at these locations as of Monday, Dec. 16. Access to Red A for these permit holders will no longer be available except during evening (after 4 p.m.) and weekend hours.

Due to the closure of the back sections of Lot Red A, the CATA stop located near White Course Apartments will close effective Monday, Dec. 16. A temporary stop will be established across from the existing bus stop located near the EES Building and will remain in place throughout construction of the West Campus Deck.
