Men's soccer earns No. 15 seed in NCAA Tournament game, hosts game Sunday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – After much waiting, the Penn State men’s soccer team learned it earned the No. 15 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament to receive a first-round bye and a second-round home game at Jeffrey Field.

Penn State will host the winner of the Providence/New Jersey Institute of Technology first-round game at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at Jeffrey Field.

The Nittany Lions will make their 33rd overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament, but their first since the 2014 season. The team earns its first national seed since the 2010 tournament.

Tickets will be $8 for adults, $5 for students, and $3 for youth or groups of 20-plus. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Penn State Athletics Ticket Office within the Bryce Jordan Center from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or at either gate at Jeffrey Field Sunday.

The game will be streamed live on the subscription-based BTN Plus.

Penn State is 22-7-1 all-time in the NCAA Tournament at Jeffrey Field.
