Trustees set election dates for coming year

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Board of Trustees today (Nov. 15) approved the election dates for election of trustees from agricultural societies, alumni, business and industry, and at-large categories.

 The board approved May 7, 2020, as the date for delegate election of agricultural trustees and for counting of ballots in the alumni trustee election. It also approved May 8, 2020, as the date for the election of business and industry, and at-large trustees.

The Penn State Board of Trustees overall membership includes six trustees who are members of and represent organized agricultural societies and associations in the state; nine alumni-elected trustees; six trustees representing business and industry; and three at-large trustees elected by the board.

During the May elections, three alumni, two agricultural, two business and industry, and one at-large trustee will be elected.
