UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With the holidays just around the corner, what better way to get into the holiday spirit than creating a gingerbread masterpiece while supporting THON?
The second annual gingerbread house decorating event, sponsored by Penn State Auxiliary and Business Services and the Penn State Bakery, will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, in Presidents Hall at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. Check-in starts at noon, and the decorating fun begins at 1 p.m.
Groups can decorate a house together for the price of $50, and all proceeds will benefit THON. The Penn State Bakery will provide the assembled gingerbread houses and all decorating supplies. Guests also will enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, and Santa will be on hand as a special guest.
