HERSHEY, Pa. — The Penn State Health Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will hold a community conversation at the Hershey campus titled “Understanding the Boundaries of the ‘Me Too’ Movement” at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in Lecture Room B (C5621).
The conversation will be led by Audrey J. Murrell, acting dean of the University Honors College at the University of Pittsburgh, and Dr. Nancy Spector, executive director of the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine Program at Drexel University. The program will use intersectionality as the guiding framework for the discussion.
The "Me Too" movement supports survivors of sexual violence and their allies by connecting survivors to resources, offering community organizing resources, pursuing a "Me Too" policy platform, and gathering sexual violence researchers and research.
