Penn State Northeast Regional Thanksgiving Dinner set for Nov. 7

READING, Pa. — Penn State international students will have the opportunity to learn more about the Thanksgiving holiday and similar holidays around the world by attending the Penn State Northeast Regional Thanksgiving Dinner. The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center in Scranton. The event is free and open to members of the Penn State community, including students, faculty members and staff, but attendees must reserve a seat in advance.

This regional event will include students from the Berks, Hazleton, Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill, Scranton and Wilkes-Barre campuses. There will be a bus departing the Berks campus at 3 p.m. and transportation is free.

Dinner attendees will learn about American Thanksgiving traditions and share stories about other cultures while enjoying a delicious dinner. The meal will feature traditional Thanksgiving cuisine, and stories will be shared via presentations during the meal.
