Abington hosts LGBTQ+ Resource Fair

ABINGTON, Pa. — Pennsylvania state Reps. Steve McCarter and Ben Sanchez, in partnership with Penn State Abington, hosted an LGBTQ+ Community Resource Fair on Oct. 19 at the college.

Resources, information and three area legislators were available to assist attendees with questions. Organizations and businesses from the Greater Philadelphia area were represented at this free event, including:  

  • Mazzoni Center 
  • William Way Community Center 
  • The Bryson Institute 
  • Philadelphia Family Pride 
  • Sage Philadelphia 
  • Jewish Family and Children’s Services – JPROUD 
  • SAGA Community Center 
  • Office of U.S. Congresswoman Madeleine Dean 
  • Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs 
  • Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission 
  • Offices of state Reps. Steve McCarter, Ben Sanchez, and Brian Sims 
  • Montgomery County LGBT Business Council 
  • Abington Township Human Relations Commission
