— An article written by Mark Kissling, assistant professor of education (social studies education), and curriculum and instruction graduate student Jonathan Bell titled “Climate Change and Pennsylvania Social Studies Teaching” appeared recently in Theory & Research in Social Education.

— An article written by Kendra Taylor; Erica Frankenberg, professor of education (educational leadership); and Genevieve Siegel-Hawley titled “Racial Segregation in the Southern Schools, School Districts, and Counties Where Districts Have Seceded” was among the 10 most read AERA Open articles from July through September 2019.
