Presentation on artificial intelligence Oct. 28 in the HUB

Global Entrepreneurship Week scheduled for Nov. 10-14

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), Nov. 10-14, will feature presentations, panels, workshops and networking opportunities geared toward entrepreneurs, local startups and anyone who enjoys thinking outside of the box. Events will take place throughout the University Park campus and in the State College community, and will feature catering by Brazilian Munchies and Honey Baked Ham. Council of Lionhearts to deliver Thanksgiving baskets

Each year student groups and departments across the Penn State community collaborate to provide Thanksgiving meals to Centre County families in need. In previous years, more than 350 baskets have been delivered, and this year Council of Lionhearts, a collection of student service organizations that share the goal of spreading awareness about service and volunteering, is hoping to donate more than 400 baskets. Departments that are interested in participating in the 2019 drive should sign up here and collect items found on the basket checklist. Baskets should be delivered between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, or Tuesday, Nov. 19, to the HUB Robeson-Center Flex Theater. First Staff Advisory Council Town Hall meeting Nov. 13

College of Education staff can share thoughts and voice concerns at the Staff Advisory Council's first Town Hall Meeting. The meeting will be held noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 13 in Krause Learn Lab in Chambers Building.

Student Engagement Network Summit Nov. 13

Faculty, staff and community members can join the Student Engagement Network at the Penn State Engagement Summit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 13 in Alumni Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center. Help determine how Penn State can support needs across the realm of student engagement.
