Penn State York to offer application and FAFSA completion program

Prospective students interested in applying to Penn State can attend Application and FAFSA Completion Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 26, at Penn State York. The event is in room 107, M.S. Grumbacher Information Sciences and Technology Center, on the lower part of the campus.

Admissions and financial aid staff will be available to assistant attendees with the process. A $65 application fee waiver will be applied to all applicants who attend the event.

For those looking to complete the Penn State application, a copy of a current or completed high school transcript is needed or official college transcripts, if applicable.

Documentation needed to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for students and parents includes:

•    2018 1040 forms (income tax forms)

•    Social security numbers

•    Birth dates

•    Investment and asset information
