UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — First responders will hold multiple training exercises at James Building, an unoccupied University-owned building on Burrowes Road, over the next several weeks.

All training will occur indoors; however, emergency vehicles parked in the area may be visible to the public.

The Centre County Tactical Response Team will conduct training on Sept. 24. The Hazardous Device Team with Penn State University Police and Public Safety will conduct an exercise on Oct. 1. Alpha Fire Company will conduct a training from late September to mid-October.

The trainings are closed to the public and the news media due to the nature of the exercises.
