Award-winning poet to read from new book Oct. 22 at Penn State Altoona

ALTOONA, Pa. — Brian Brodeur, winner of the Akron Poetry Prize and the Autumn House Poetry Prize, will give a reading from his new book, "Every Hour Is Late," at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Brodeur is a professor of English at Indiana University East in Richmond, Indiana. He curates the online poetry archive How a Poem Happens and has published work in some of our nation’s best journals and magazines, including American Poetry Review, Gettysburg Review, Kenyon Review, and Missouri Review.

The reading is sponsored by Penn State Altoona's English program and is open to the public.
