Learn about budgeting during Sept. 24 webinar

Webinars through the Sokolov-Miller Family Center are offered at no cost to the Penn State community

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The financial experts at the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center are offering a workshop focused on budgeting from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 24.

Participants can use this Zoom link to attend the webinar at no cost. Additionally, self-study modules are available here from “MoneyCounts: A Penn State Financial Literacy Series.”

The Tuesday webinar will cover how to set up SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely) goals, collecting financial information, tracking money coming in and going out, and reviewing cash flow and setting up a budget.

The next webinar is scheduled for Oct. 8 and will focus on money and nutrition.

The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center offers services to the entire Penn State community and is part of Penn State Undergraduate Education, the academic administrative unit that provides leadership and coordination for University-wide programs and initiatives in support of undergraduate teaching and learning at Penn State.
