Twelfth Annual Postdoc Research Exhibition to be held Sept. 18

Participants will be presenting their research in a manner that is designed to be accessible to a broad audience

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State's Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and the Penn State Postdoc Society are hosting the Twelfth Annual Postdoc Research Exhibition, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the HUB-Robeson Center, University Park.

Postdocs and assistant research professors from departments across the campus will be presenting their research in a manner that is designed to be accessible to a broad audience.

A poster session, lightning-talk competition, short-talk competition, and panel discussion on career options after postdoc training, are the events planned. Awards will be presented for outstanding postdoc mentor and postdoc.

Faculty, postdoctoral researchers, students and staff are encouraged to attend and see the range of research being conducted at Penn State. The poster session, lighting-talk and short-talk competitions, and the awards ceremony are open to the public.

This event is being held in conjunction with National Postdoc Appreciation Week Celebrations to recognize the significant contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to research and discovery. More details about the event are available at https://www.research.psu.edu/opa.
