HAZLETON, Pa. — The Penn State Hazleton Alumni Society has organized a bus trip for “a day on your own” in New York City on Saturday, Dec. 7, with seats filling fast.
All are invited to purchase a ticket for the trip, which costs $40 and includes bus transportation, water and snacks.
The bus departs at 8 a.m. from Lot A at Penn State Hazleton and leaves New York at 7 p.m. to return to Hazleton. Dropoff and pickup in New York City are at 49th Street and Eighth Avenue.
While in the city, those on the trip can do as they please, visiting the Rockefeller Center shopping district, window displays, Christmas tree and holiday lights, seeing a Broadway show or any other activity they choose.
50/50 prize raffles will be held aboard the bus, with proceeds benefiting the Alumni Society Scholarship Fund at Penn State Hazleton.
