UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Following the popularity and success of its Alumni Walk and Courtyard campaigns, the Penn State Alumni Association has launched the Alumni Plaza campaign.
By purchasing a commemorative paver, members of the Penn State family have the unique opportunity to celebrate a milestone such as graduation, remember a cherished period in their lives, showcase their pride in Penn State, or honor a loved one.
Located directly in front of the Hintz Family Alumni Center, the Alumni Plaza will further enhance the alumni home on campus, continuing to make the area one of the most visible and visited locations at University Park.
It also will serve as another reminder of the power of the Penn State network, which features more than 172,000 Alumni Association members and over 700,000 living alumni.
Proceeds from pavers purchased for the plaza will be placed in a permanently endowed fund that will help students get to know the Alumni Association; strengthen their connection to the Penn State alumni network; and learn about community, philanthropy, leadership, teamwork and Penn State traditions.
