HERSHEY, Pa. — Children had a chance to build robotic cars and take part in other STEM activities at an event held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Penn State Children’s Hospital.

In observation of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Amazon hosted Camp Amazon, which included a range of hands-on educational activities for patients and their families in the hospital’s Tree House Café.

Amazon representatives also used the occasion to announce a $30,000 donation to Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital. The Four Diamonds mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children and their families through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research.
