— College of Education alumni Raquel Muñiz, assistant professor and liaison to the law school at Boston College, and Frank Fernandez, assistant professor of higher education at the University of Mississippi, were elected to the Association for the Study of Higher Education's Public Policy Council. Muñiz received a doctorate in educational theory and policy in summer 2018. Fernandez received a doctorate in higher education with a minor in political science in spring 2017.
