Directions to Mount Nittany Medical Center on Penn State football game days

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Mount Nittany Medical Center, the State College Police Department and Penn State University Police are advising the public to use Orchard Road in State College to travel to Mount Nittany Medical Center on Penn State football game days.

Police will not permit traffic on Orchard Road to get backed up at the Park Avenue stop sign. All traffic will be directed onto Park Avenue toward the medical center.

If you have a medical emergency and experience traffic problems somewhere other than Orchard Road, call 911. Give your name, exact location, destination (medical center), and the make, model and color of your vehicle. If possible, a police officer will be sent to escort you to the medical center. When you see the police officer, wave so that he or she can identify you. Please use this privilege in extreme emergencies only.
