Center for Arts and Crafts offers art classes, workshops for adults this fall

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Arts and Crafts at Penn State is now taking registrations for adult art classes for fall semester 2019, on the University Park campus. These noncredit classes are open to all Penn State faculty, staff and students.

A wide variety of classes are available to choose from, including Wheel Thrown Pottery, Oil Painting, Sculpture, Illusion Art, Stained Glass, Acrylic Painting, Comic Creation, Drawing Studio, Colored Pencil, Fiber Arts, and more. There are a number of workshops as well, including String Art, Landscape Painting, Sculpture, Step by Step Painting, Illuminated Wine Bottles, Fall-themed workshops and many others.

Those interested in participating can register in 3 Ritenour Building, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A valid Penn State ID is required for registration. Visitors, please note that areas in Ritenour Building currently are undergoing renovations.

Penn State students are eligible for reduced rates courtesy of the Student Initiated Fee.
