UNIVERSITY PARK — The fall semester has started, though summer isn’t quite over.

All University Park students are invited to launch their semester at BASH, hosted by the Blue & White Society. The annual party-style event is set for 2-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Hintz Family Alumni Center.

Designed to welcome back students for a new academic year, BASH will feature free food, giveaways, inflatables, a Ferris wheel and more, in a fun, summer-themed environment.

Blue & White Society members can pick up their limited-edition scarf at BASH, and students also can join on site. The Blue & White Society is the student membership of the Penn State Alumni Association and one of the largest and most active student organizations at Penn State. Current members will be available to share information and answer questions for students wishing to learn more and join.

The Blue & White Society plans many events on campus each year, while also participating in events such as THON, Homecoming, Relay For Life, and various community service programs. Visit the group’s website to learn more.
