UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State faculty, staff and students are invited to check out the University Libraries' new Collaboration Commons and Central Atrium, which opened to the public for the first time at 4 p.m. Aug. 22.

The Libraries' newest space is a four-story expansion and ground-floor renovation featuring numerous electrical outlets for charging devices, expanded Wi-Fi access, and mobile seating to support improved online productivity. It is the culmination of Libraries 2020, a 14-month, two-phase construction project incorporating the features students said they needed most.
