UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A broken tree limb has resulted in the temporary closure of a section of sidewalk in front of Old Main near the CATA bus stop at College Avenue and Allen Street.
The broken oak tree limb is located on the lower Old Main lawn and has been secured by staff from the Penn State Office of Physical Plant. The adjacent sidewalk, located between the Allen Street and Pugh Street malls, is closed to pedestrian traffic until Monday, when the limb will be removed. The area has been blocked off and pedestrians are being routed around the closed sidewalk. The bus stop on College Avenue remains open.
