McCloskey serves as the finance assistant for the Department of Education Policy Studies in the College of Education. She works directly with faculty, staff and students to process expenses and reimburse travel. She is the budget steward for the department, ensuring that purchases, contracts, etc. comply with college and University policies. McCloskey is new in her position, having arrived at the end of November 2018, and has a strong background in accounting and tax law. In her free time, she volunteers with veterans' organizations.
