Center for Arts and Crafts offering adult summer art classes

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Arts and Crafts at Penn State is now taking registrations for adult summer art classes, which begin the week of July 8. These noncredit classes are open to all Penn State faculty, staff and students.

The Center for Arts and Crafts offers a variety of noncredit summer art classes designed for Penn State faculty, staff and students. Classes are available for those interested in drawing, painting, pottery, photography and more.  Credit: Center for Arts and CraftsAll Rights Reserved.

A wide variety of classes are available to choose from, including Wheel Thrown Pottery, Drawing, Acrylic Painting, Photography, Watercolor Painting, Comic Creation, Oil Painting, and more. There are a number of workshops as well, including Paint Your Own Pottery, Crocheted Scarves, Cross Stitching, Found Object Sculptures, and many others.

Those interested in participating can register in 3 Ritenour Building; a valid Penn State ID is required. The office will be closed July 3-5, but regular hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday) will resume July 8. Penn State students are eligible for reduced rates courtesy of the Student Initiated Fee.
