Many in College of Education earn University-wide, college awards

50 College of Education students earn University-wide awards

Fifty students in the College of Education are among the recipients of Penn State's most prestigious University-wide student awards for this academic year.

Multicultural Resource Center honors 3 in College of Education

The University's Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) has recognized one College of Education staff member and two students in its annual awards presentation. Brenda Martinez, administrative support assistant in the college's Office of Multicultural Programs, is the inaugural recipient of the MRC Faculty and Staff Diversity Recognition Award. Students Krishawna Goins and Rabiyatu Jalloh won the Student Leadership Award and Volunteer Service Award, respectively.

Marimon is 2019 recipient of emerging faculty award for engaged scholarship

Efrain Marimon, assistant professor of education in the College of Education, has received Penn State's 2019 Outreach and Online Education Emerging Faculty Award for Engaged Scholarship.

Prins a recipient of 2019 Graduate Faculty Teaching Award

Esther Prins, professor of education in the College of Education, is one of two recipients of Penn State's 2019 Graduate Faculty Teaching Award.

College of Education alumnus earns Alumni Achievement Award

Brian Patchcoski, a 2010 graduate of the College of Education with a master's degree in college student affairs/higher education, is one of 15 prominent young alumni to be honored by the Penn State Alumni Association with the Alumni Achievement Award.

Outstanding faculty, staff, students recognized

Once again this year, the College of Education has recognized faculty, staff and students who have made significant contributions to their fields, the college, and the University. The award winners were selected through nomination letters prompted by their outstanding service and dedication to their jobs.
