Arts Project workshop series accepting registrations for summer sessions

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Arts Project at Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced its summer 2019 sessions, which will take place from April 24 to Aug. 6, at the Lehigh Valley campus located at 2809 Saucon Valley Road in Center Valley.

“Visiting Artist Jill Odegaard will offer an intensive papermaking and bookmaking workshop for this one-time offer at Penn State Lehigh Valley,” said Ann Lalik, gallery director and arts coordinator. “She will provide special equipment and supplies to allow students an authentic experience.  Jill is a professor of art and chair of the Art Department at Cedar Crest College.”

The workshops being offered include:

  • "Drawing and Painting Design Fundamentals" with Ron De Long
  • "Papermaking and Book Making" with Jill Odegaard
  • "Beginning Metals and Jewelry" and "Advanced Metals and Jewelry" with Ann Lalik
