Blue-White Game set for 3 p.m. April 13

Blue-White Boardwalk Fan Fest begins at 10 a.m.

The popular autograph session with the Nittany Lions will be held from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Members of the Penn State football team will be assigned to gates A, B, C, E and F of Beaver Stadium. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Fans who attend the Blue-White Game, presented by Highmark, will have a variety of activities to participate in prior to kickoff. The game is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Beaver Stadium.

The Blue-White Boardwalk Fan Fest, the official Penn State football game day fan festival, includes carnival games, free carnival rides, such as ferris wheel and giant slide, a photo booth, fun and games with Penn State student-athletes, face painting, caricature artist, food vendors and corporate partner displays and samplings. The Blue-White Boardwalk runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will be located on Curtin Road near Beaver Stadium.

Student-athletes from a variety of Penn State athletics teams, including women's soccer, men's basketball, field hockey, women's lacrosse and men's gymnastics, will be in attendance from 10:30 a.m. to noon and a stage show featuring music, fun and games will run from 10 a.m. through the end of team arrival.

The Blue-White Apparel and Equipment Sale, which will include team-issued apparel, uniforms and equipment, runs from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or while supplies last in Pegula Ice Arena and is open to the public. The sale is coordinated by Lion Surplus. Fans wishing to shop the equipment sale can enter Pegula Ice Arena through Gate A. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted at the sale.

Fans should allow time to return bags of purchased items to their vehicles prior to the Blue-White Game as the University's Bag Policy (www.gopsusports.com/bagpolicy) will be followed for the annual spring game.

Admission is free for the Blue-White Game. The 2018 season ticket and season parking permit holders received a white 2019 Blue-White Game parking permit with their 2018 season tickets and parking last summer and need to present parking permit at lots.

Fans attending the Blue-White Game who did not have 2018 season tickets and a season parking permit will be charged $20 for "car" parking. Car parking is now available for purchase for $20 by visiting the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. In-person purchases can be made until 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 12. Parking on Blue-White Game day is cash only.

RV parking is restricted to the overnight RV lot. RV parking is complimentary on game day with a previously issued permit, $60 for Friday arrival with permit. Fans without an RV permit will be charged $100 for Friday arrival and $40 for game day arrival.

The team blue bus arrival for the Nittany Lions will be at 11:45 a.m. at the corner of Curtin and Porter Roads.

The Blue-White Game completes the Nittany Lions' 15 spring practice sessions. The contest will air live on Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com. The game will be tape-delayed on the Big Ten Network.

The Blue-White Game is the University's unofficial annual spring reunion. Last year, an estimated 71,000 fans were in attendance. The Blue-White Game has drawn more than 60,000 fans in six of the last seven years, which included crowds of 70,000 or more in four of the last five years.
