MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — The Penn State Harrisburg School of Humanities’ theatre program will present the spring musical “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at 7:30 p.m. April 4-6 in the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre in the Student Enrichment Center on campus.

In this fast-paced, Tony Award-winning comedy, six awkward tweens vie for the coveted spelling championship. As they fight to stay in the contest, the students — each with their own quirky and engaging personality — share hilarious and touching tales from their home lives, ultimately learning that winning isn’t everything.

Featuring an addictive original score and riotous competition, the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is an instant musical theatre favorite.

Tickets can be purchased online via the Penn State Harrisburg Box Office. General admission tickets are $10, and $5 for Penn State Harrisburg students, faculty and staff.
