Global Programs to hold information sessions for new Perreault Fellows Program

Students from six academic colleges are eligible for the program, which supports international internship opportunities

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Office of Global Programs will hold three information sessions for the Perreault Fellows Program in late March and early April.

The Perreault Fellows Program supports a comprehensive educational and international internship opportunity for a select and diverse group of talented undergraduates intent on becoming global leaders in the field of health and human well-being. The program is open to students in the Smeal College of Business, Eberly College of Science, and the colleges of Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Information Sciences and Technology, and the Liberal Arts.

Information sessions are open to students in these colleges, or undeclared students with the intent of declaring a major in one of these colleges. Students in their first year and second year of study are welcome to attend the information sessions, but only sophomores/rising juniors will be eligible to apply for 2019-20 fellowship cycle.

Global Programs will host the following information sessions for potential applicants:

  • Liberal Arts: 4-5 p.m. March 20, 124 Sparks Building
  • STEM: 4-5 p.m. March 26, 16 Ritenour Building
  • Business: 4:30-5:30 p.m. April 2, 124 Business Building

All information sessions are open to all students (despite their primary focus), as most of the information will be generally applicable across all areas of focus.

These information sessions will cover the history and an overview of the program, application and review process, and eligibility. The sessions also will contain information on the types of internships students are encouraged to apply for, and there will be opportunities for students to ask questions.

The Perreault Fellows Program was created by a generous gift from Paul and Beverly Perreault
