UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The first March webinar from the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center will focus on the time value of money, which is the idea that money at the present is worth more than the same amount in the future due to its potential earning capacity.

Participants can use this Zoom link at noon Tuesday, March 12, to attend the hour-long webinar at no cost. Additionally, self-study modules are available here from “MoneyCounts: A Penn State Financial Literacy Series.”

The Tuesday webinar will cover interest rates, annual percentage rate, amortization and the time value of money impact on investments and debt.

The next webinar is scheduled for March 26 and will focus on money and relationships.
