Annual bullying workshop set for March 15

The College of Education's Diversity and Community Enhancement Committee (DCEC) will host Bullying Among Diverse Populations, a free workshop for students, faculty and staff, on March 15 at the Nittany Lion Inn.

Workshop participants will learn about the prevalence and impact of bias-based bullying, as well as how to begin the journey of identifying and recognizing their own prejudices, biases and privileges. Additionally, participants will learn methods to address bias bullying as an active bystander, a colleague, a friend, and, most of all, an educator.

Those interested in attending must register by March 11 by visiting https://goo.gl/eWJ1xM. Additional questions regarding the workshop may be directed to Patty Liu, graduate assistant for DCEC, at pul131@psu.edu.
