Parking deck restrictions on Tuesday, Jan. 22

With roof level parking currently unavailable at the East, Eisenhower and Nittany decks due to snow and ice, and with extreme cold temperatures preventing cleanup of these areas today, Transportation Services is issuing a parking advisory for Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Please note the following parking changes in place between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday:

  • Each of the four campus decks (East, Eisenhower, HUB, and Nittany) will be reserved for assigned permit holders only, with no hourly parking available.
  • Faculty and staff with permits for other campus parking areas should remain parked in their assigned areas and use the no-fare Campus Shuttle or CATA Loop/Link system to travel around campus.
  • Visitors to campus should be directed to utilize pay station parking at Jordan East and Stadium West and to use the no-fare Campus Shuttle or CATA Loop/Link system to travel around campus.

Real-time Campus Shuttle and CATABUS locations can be found by downloading the TransLoc Rider mobile app or by visiting psu.transloc.com.

ADA parking for visitors and faculty, staff and students with core-of-campus permit access will remain available at each of the decks on Tuesday. Departmental floater permits will also be honored at each of the decks, if space is available.

If there are any questions, please email parking@psu.edu or call 865-1436.
