A look back at the top stories from across Penn State:

President's Blog: In his latest post, Penn State President Eric J. Barron provides a progress update on actions that have been taken to reform Greek life at the University since 2017.

Equity and Inclusion: The University's leadership continues to reach toward the goals outlined in Penn State's strategic plan: to build and advance a truly diverse student body and workforce, develop a curriculum that fosters and teaches diversity, and create a culture of equity and inclusion that not only respects but celebrates our differences.

Hazing Report: Penn State published its initial institutional report documenting hazing incidents at the University over the past five years, as required under the Timothy J. Piazza Antihazing Law.

Shutdown Impact: As the partial federal government shutdown continues, Penn State leadership is assessing the short- and long-term effects that the closure is having on students, faculty, staff and University operations, and developing contingency plans to minimize the impact of a more prolonged exposure.

Re-Imagining Energy — Pulling It All Together: Because solar and wind power generators depend on the time of day and the weather, we need ways to combine power sources and storage systems to assure reliable service. Learfield Cup: The Nittany Lions are No. 3 in the final fall 2018 standings on the strength of give teams participating in their respective NCAA championships and the football team earning a third consecutive New Year's/CFP bowl berth.
