A look back at the week's top news from across Penn State:

Re-Imagining Energy: Almost 40 percent of the energy we use goes to heat, cool, light, and power appliances in the buildings where we live and work. Penn State is a global leader in making its buildings more energy efficient through green design and sustainable construction practices. Part four of a five-part series.

Musser Gap Survey: Penn State and ClearWater Conservancy are seeking input from the campus and local community as part of the University’s effort to conserve land it owns, roughly between Whitehall Road and Rothrock State Forest at Musser Gap, in Ferguson Township near the University Park campus.

New Year's Resolutions: For many people, the start of the new year is an opportunity to live a healthier life. Whether it's being less stressed, eating better or being healthier overall, research by Penn State faculty over the past year may offer some tips to achieving those goals:

Entrepreneurship: Penn State President Eric J. Barron wrote an op-ed article last week for The Conversation about the emerging trend of student entrepreneurs leveraging resources on college campuses across the country and the importance of universities building support for these initiatives.

Robot Students: Telepresence robots are helping students engage in meaningful ways with their instructors and remote classmates while bridging the distance between two locations — Penn State Greater Allegheny and Penn State New Kensington.

Graduating Veterans: Penn State has joined 30 other higher education institutions in a commitment to graduating more military veterans as a part of the American Talent Initiative.
