Donations sought to replenish Professional Attire Closet

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Career Services is collecting professional clothing donations for students to restock the Professional Attire Closet.

The Professional Attire Closet is available to students prior to large career fairs and by appointment. Students are encouraged to use the items for interviews, networking events and other professional opportunities.

More than 600 students utilized the closet during the fall semester. There is a current need for any lightly used professional attire, with smaller sizes being of the most critical need. Donations can be dropped off in the Bank of America Career Services Center, the Business Building, and the Hintz Family Alumni Center.

The Professional Attire Closet has been available to students since 2015. Donated professional clothing is cleaned and made available for students in need to build confidence and equal opportunity. The 2018-19 closet is sponsored in part by Kohl’s and Altria.
