Re-imagining energy: The past few years have brought a surge in battery technology. Here’s a sampling of how Penn State researchers are changing the battery landscape.

De-stressing for finals: Penn State has many resources and activities available to ease the burden leading up to and during finals week. Check out some of the many ways students can take a break between study sessions and unwind after an exam. 

Volunteer Tax Assistance: The Penn State's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, an Internal Revenue Service-sponsored initiative, provides free tax preparation and electronic filing services to income-eligible taxpayers, including Penn State students, staff and retirees.

Holiday heat reduction: Over the holiday break, in accordance with Administrative Policy AD64, temperatures in many University facilities will be reduced to conserve energy, generate savings, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions for the University.

World Campus recognized for military-friendliness: Military Times ranked Penn State World Campus No. 11 among its top online and nontraditional schools in its “Best for Vets: Colleges 2019” rankings.

Annual enrollment snapshot:  Penn State’s overall enrollment saw a slight decrease during the past year, according to the annual enrollment census released by the University.
